KARACHI: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) concluded the final trading day of the week with a significant surge, marking a robust end to the business week. The bullish trend resulted in the restoration of two key levels within the 100-Index.
The 100-Index rose by 1,435 points, closing at an impressive 115,272 points. During the day, the index reached a peak of 115,356 points, while the lowest point recorded was 113,571 points.
The 100-Index had closed the previous day at 113,836 points. The overall market performance reflects a strong positive momentum, with investors showing increased confidence in the market.
The recovery in the PSX was welcomed by market participants, who attributed the surge to improving market sentiment and positive developments in various sectors of the economy.
