Karachi: The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) recorded a positive performance during the trading week, with notable gains across major indices.
In just one week, the benchmark KSE-100 Index surged by 3,559 points, closing at a new high of 101,357 points for the first time. The highest point for the KSE-100 Index during the week was 101,496, while its lowest recorded value was 94,180.
The stock market witnessed robust trading activity with 4.89 billion shares changing hands during the week. The weekly turnover was valued at approximately 184 billion Pakistani rupees, reflecting strong investor participation.
Market capitalisation also significantly increased, growing by 366 billion rupees to 12,885 billion rupees by the end of the week.
