Pakistan to Witness ‘Blood Moon’ for the First Time This Year
Pakistanis will be able to witness a rare astronomical event this year. The Meteorological Department confirmed the appearance of a ‘Blood Moon’. This full lunar eclipse will make the moon appear red, giving it the name ‘Blood Moon’.

 

According to ARY News, the eclipse will occur on the night between September 7 and 8. The partial lunar eclipse will begin at 9:27 PM. The complete eclipse will reach its peak at 11:12 PM.

The eclipse will start on September 7 at 8:28 PM. Partial eclipse ends at 12:57 AM, and the full eclipse concludes at 1:55 AM. The total duration of the lunar eclipse will be 5 hours and 27 minutes.

The Meteorological Department stated that the lunar eclipse will be visible across Pakistan. Observers in many parts of the world will also enjoy the view.

Globally, the Blood Moon will be visible in Asia, Europe, Africa, and Australia. Observers in the Pacific region, western North America, and eastern South America will also see it.
