Pakistan vs West Indies: first test to begin in Multan tomorrow

Multan: The first Test match between Pakistan and West Indies will kick off tomorrow in Multan, marking the West Indies’ first Test series in Pakistan since 2006.
The West Indies team is back in Pakistan for a much-anticipated Test series after a long gap of nearly two decades. On the other hand, Pakistan is gearing up for its second consecutive home Test series victory.
In their last home series, Pakistan defeated England 2-1, and the team is eager to end their World Test Championship series on a high note. Pakistan’s captain, Shan Masood, expressed confidence in his team’s ability to perform well on home soil, saying, “We aim to finish the World Test Championship series with a win.”
West Indian captain Craig Brathwaite also shared his thoughts ahead of the match, acknowledging Pakistan’s strength at home. “Pakistan is a strong team on their home ground, and we are looking forward to putting up a good performance,” Brathwaite said.
