Pakistan achieved a remarkable victory in the third and final ODI against Australia on Sunday, clinching the three-match series and marking their first series win on Australian soil in 22 years. The last time Pakistan won a 50-over series in Australia was in 2002.

Chasing a modest target of 141 runs set by Australia, Pakistan’s batting line-up made light work of the chase, reaching the target in just 26.5 overs. The Green Shirts won the match by a commanding eight-wicket margin, securing the series 2-1.

Australia, after being put into bat, struggled to build partnerships and were bowled out for just 140 runs. Pakistan’s bowlers produced a disciplined performance, with key breakthroughs at crucial moments, putting the Australian batting under constant pressure.

In response, Pakistan’s openers set the stage with a steady start, and the middle order made sure to keep the momentum going. The victory was sealed with plenty of overs to spare, as Pakistan comfortably crossed the target to take the series.
