Islamabad: In a move reflecting ongoing diplomatic tensions, the Indian government has declared another Pakistani High Commission official in New Delhi as persona non grata and issued a notice to leave the country within 24 hours.
According to India’s Ministry of External Affairs, the Pakistani diplomat has been asked to leave for unspecified reasons. The Pakistani High Commissioner has also been issued a formal démarche in this regard.
