Pakistani Actress Nadia Afghan Receives Death Threats from Feroze Khan’s Fans

Veteran Pakistani actress Nadia Afghan has made a disturbing revelation about receiving death threats from fans of actor Feroze Khan following her critical remarks about his acting style.

In a recent appearance on a television program, Nadia shared that after she openly critiqued Feroze Khan’s work, she was met with intense backlash, including serious threats to her life on social media.

“Some of his fans went so far as to say, ‘We will kill you’ or ‘We’ll take your life,’” Nadia revealed during the interview.
“It hurt to hear that, but I know I’m an actor, and I stand by my opinion,” she added confidently.

According to Nadia, most of these threats came from anonymous or newly created social media accounts, which made the situation even more alarming. She emphasised how online hate can create real fear for artists who are simply expressing their views.

Also present on the show was senior actress Atiqa Odho, who madeade a light-hearted remark saying,

“I’m glad the criticism is now directed at you instead of me.”
adding some comic relief to the intense discussion.

Nadia mentioned that while some fellow artists and writers supported her stance, the hostile behaviour of certain fans crossed all limits. She urged people to promote healthy dialogue and not resort to aggression or threats.
