8 Pakistani Mechanics Shot Dead in Iran’s Sistan-Baluchestan Province

Eight Pakistani car mechanics were killed in a gun attack near the Afghan border in Iran’s Sistan-Baluchestan province, according to Iranian media.

Reports state that armed assailants opened fire on a workshop in the Mehristan area, resulting in the deaths of all eight workers.

Diplomatic sources confirmed that the victims were Pakistani nationals working in the region. Iranian authorities have launched an investigation into the incident.

Local media reported that all the victims were from Punjab, Pakistan. Arrangements are being made to repatriate the bodies following legal formalities.
