London: Pakistan’s opening batter, Saim Ayub, has arrived in London for specialised medical treatment following an injury to his ankle during the second Test match against South Africa. Ayub, who sustained a fracture to his ankle during the match, was initially provided with immediate medical care in Cape Town. However, due to the severity of the injury, he was subsequently flown to London for further treatment

Accompanying Saim Ayub is Pakistan’s assistant coach, Azhar Mahmood, who will provide support during his recovery. The treatment arrangements in London are being closely supervised by Pakistan’s High Commissioner to the UK, Dr. Mohammad Faisal, to ensure that the young cricketer receives the best possible care.

The decision to send Ayub abroad for treatment was made on the special instructions of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Najam Sethi. Chairman Sethi emphasized the importance of Ayub’s recovery, stating, “Saim Ayub is a valuable asset to Pakistan cricket, and we are committed to providing him with all the necessary resources for his treatment. We are hopeful for his speedy recovery and wish him the very best.”
