After nine rounds, the top two teams on the points table will face each other in the final match, which is scheduled from November 29 to December 3. The first round will feature matches at five venues, including Abbottabad Cricket Club, Shoaib Akhtar Stadium, Imran Khan Stadium, Diamond Ground, and Margalla Ground.

Six teams, including FATA, Peshawar, Lahore Whites, Abbottabad, Sialkot, and Bahawalpur, qualified based on their past performances. Later, PCB Chairman Mohsin Raza allowed the top four teams from the Hanif Mohammad Trophy to join the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, instead of just two teams as earlier planned.
