The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced the schedule for the country’s biggest domestic cricket event, the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy 2025. The tournament will begin on October 6 and feature 10 regional teams competing in four-day first-class matches across different cities.
The participating teams include defending champions Sialkot, runner-up Peshawar, along with Abbottabad, Bahawalpur, FATA, Faisalabad, Islamabad, Karachi Blues, Lahore Whites, and Multan. Matches will be played in Peshawar, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, and Abbottabad.

After nine rounds, the top two teams on the points table will face each other in the final match, which is scheduled from November 29 to December 3. The first round will feature matches at five venues, including Abbottabad Cricket Club, Shoaib Akhtar Stadium, Imran Khan Stadium, Diamond Ground, and Margalla Ground.
Six teams, including FATA, Peshawar, Lahore Whites, Abbottabad, Sialkot, and Bahawalpur, qualified based on their past performances. Later, PCB Chairman Mohsin Raza allowed the top four teams from the Hanif Mohammad Trophy to join the Quaid-e-Azam Trophy, instead of just two teams as earlier planned.
