PCC CEO Meets Malaysian FM to Enhance Blockchain & Islamic Finance Ties

In a significant move towards advancing regional collaboration in the digital economy, Pakistan Crypto Council (PCC) CEO Bilal Bin Saqib held a meeting with Malaysia’s Foreign Minister Mohamad Bin Haji Hasan during his visit to Jakarta, as reported by ARY News.
According to an official statement from Pakistan’s Finance Division, the discussion focused on joint opportunities in blockchain technology, digital assets, and Shariah-compliant financial systems.
Bilal Bin Saqib praised Malaysia’s progressive role in Islamic finance and its structured approach to cryptocurrency regulations. He emphasised the importance of cooperation in shaping inclusive and forward-looking digital financial frameworks.
Both sides highlighted the potential for regulatory coordination between the financial authorities of both countries. They also agreed on the need to invest in cross-border talent development and launch Web3 education initiatives to better equip youth for the evolving digital landscape.
