Pet Parrot in China Sets World Record for Color Recognition

Beijing: A pet parrot in China has stunned everyone by setting a Guinness World Record for recognizing colors in record time.

The parrot, named Xiaogui, identified 10 different colors in just 33.5 seconds by picking up colored balls and placing them into matching containers. With this feat, Xiaogui earned the title of the fastest parrot to recognize 10 colors.

During the attempt, the parrot made a small mistake by placing a dark pink ball into a light pink container. However, it quickly corrected the error on its own, impressing both the judges and the audience.

According to its owner, Chen Feng, Xiaogui showed an interest in colors from the very beginning. This encouraged him to train the bird further, and with consistent practice, the parrot achieved this remarkable milestone.
