Petrol prices likely to drop in Pakistan

Islamabad: The government is expected to announce new petroleum prices tonight, with a likely reduction in petrol and diesel rates due to declining global oil prices.
Petrol may decrease from Rs. 0.60 to Rs. 1.00 per litre, bringing the new price to around Rs. 251.63. High-Speed Diesel (HSD) is expected to drop by Rs. 0.28 per litre. Kerosene and Light Diesel Oil may see a slight increase.
The final decision will be made following consultations between the Ministry of Finance and the Prime Minister.
It is worth noting that OGRA reviews fuel prices every 15 days, based on international market trends and domestic fiscal policies.
