Islamabad: The prices of petroleum products are expected to rise once again starting from tomorrow, with adjustments to be made for the next 15 days. The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) is set to send the new price summary to the government today for final approval.
According to reports, petrol prices are likely to increase by Rs. 1.24 per liter, bringing the new price to Rs. 257.37 per liter. Similarly, diesel prices are expected to rise by Rs. 4.49 per liter, which will set the new price at Rs. 265.44 per liter starting February 1st.
Additionally, kerosene oil is anticipated to see a price hike of Rs. 5.93 per liter, and Light Diesel Oil (LDO) is expected to increase by Rs. 5.05 per liter.
This would mark the third consecutive price hike for petroleum products in January, with the government having already raised fuel prices twice this month.
