PM Shehbaz Sharif to Visit Quetta for Tribal Jirga on Balochistan Security

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to visit Quetta on Saturday for a one-day trip during which he will attend a tribal jirga focused on reviewing the law and order situation in Balochistan.
Sources say several federal ministers will accompany the prime minister. The gathering will also be attended by Balochistan Governor Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti, and members of the provincial cabinet.
The jirga will bring together members of the Balochistan Assembly, local politicians, and tribal elders. The participants are expected to hold discussions on the current security landscape and other pressing issues facing the province.
According to sources, the federal leadership aims to consult and build consensus with tribal elders on key matters affecting the region.
