PM Shehbaz Sharif to Visit Saudi Arabia

Islamabad : According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif will undertake an official visit to Saudi Arabia from October 27 to 29, on the invitation of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

The Prime Minister will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar and senior members of the cabinet. During the visit, he will attend the 9th edition of the Future Investment Initiative (FII) being held in Riyadh.

The theme of this year’s conference is:
“The Key to Prosperity: Unveiling New Frontiers of Growth”
— bringing together global leaders, investors, policymakers, and innovators from around the world.

The Foreign Office stated that the thematic sessions will focus on innovation, sustainability, economic inclusion, and geopolitical transformations.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is expected to hold discussions on enhancing bilateral trade, investment, energy cooperation, and human resource development between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.

He will also meet with leaders of other countries and heads of international organizations on the sidelines of the event to discuss regional and global issues.

ISLAMABAD – NADRA has announced a special mobile registration service for overseas Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia. A mobile team will be available in Dammam city on September 26 and 27.

The service will run from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM local time. Locations include Tamimi New Camp and Zohran in the Eastern Province. This initiative aims to make essential identity services more accessible for overseas citizens.

The mobile team will offer several important services. These include new Smart NICOPs, reprints, DUP clearance, and updates to existing NICOPs. Services also cover the cancellation of NICOPs and Smart NICOPs, and issuance of Family Registration Certificates (FRC).

NADRA has taken this step to support overseas Pakistanis who face difficulty visiting local offices. The goal is to bring these services directly to their doorstep.

In addition to this facility, NADRA has introduced multiple fee payment options for all citizens. Applicants can now pay fees in cash at NADRA offices after their request is approved. They can also pay using digital platforms like JazzCash, Easypaisa, and E-Sahulat outlets.

These new options aim to make the payment process quicker and easier for everyone.
