Popular TikToker allegedly killed in the name of honour

In a shocking incident, Iqra, a well-known TikToker known as “Thal Ki Shehzadi”, was allegedly killed in the name of honour in Noor Pur Thal, a tehsil in Khushab District, Punjab.
According to police, Iqra was shot dead at her home by her cousin, who was reportedly angered by her presence and activity on social media.
DPO Khushab, Tauqeer Muhammad Naeem, confirmed that the suspect was unhappy with the victim’s TikTok videos and acted out in rage. Iqra died on the spot.
Police have arrested the accused, registered a case, and launched a formal investigation.
The incident has sparked outrage amongst human rights activists, who are once again urging authorities to take concrete steps to protect women and combat honour-based violence in the country.
