President Zardari signs Finance Bill 2026 into Law

Islamabad: President Asif Ali Zardari has officially signed the Finance Bill 2026, granting it constitutional approval after its passage by the National Assembly and Senate.

Following the President’s assent, the gazette notification was promptly issued, making the proposed tax measures, revenue policies, and budgetary provisions for the new fiscal year legally effective.

The bill had earlier been passed by majority vote in both houses of Parliament, marking a key step in the implementation of the federal budget for the fiscal year 2025–26.
