President Zardari visits Gujranwala Garrison, praises armed forces

Gujranwala: President Asif Ali Zardari visited Gujranwala Garrison where he was received by Army Chief General Syed Asim Munir. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi also accompanied him.
According to ISPR, President Zardari lauded the Pakistan Armed Forces for their successful execution of “Operation Banyan Marsus” and “Marka-e-Haq”, calling it a testament to their courage, professionalism, and national spirit.
He praised the armed forces for defeating the enemy’s hostile plans within hours, and said the sacrifices of the martyrs are a sacred national trust and a source of pride.
The president emphasised that the people of Pakistan see their brave military as true guardians of the nation’s honour and sovereignty. He also appreciated the high morale, readiness, and commitment of the officers and soldiers.
“The armed forces have sent a clear message of Pakistan’s strength, resilience, and national unity,” President Zardari concluded.
