Prime Minister Shahbaz Meets Kuwait’s Crown Prince

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif met with the Crown Prince of Kuwait, Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, in New York. Both leaders agreed to strengthen bilateral cooperation in areas such as trade, investment, workforce export, and other key sectors.

The meeting took place during the Prime Minister’s visit to attend the 80th session of the United Nations General Assembly. According to a statement from the Prime Minister’s Office, the two leaders discussed the historical and friendly relations between Pakistan and Kuwait.

Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif expressed his good wishes for the Amir of Kuwait and thanked the Crown Prince for Kuwait’s support after the recent floods in Pakistan. He appreciated the long-standing friendship between the two countries.

The Prime Minister also expressed a strong desire to further improve relations in areas like agriculture, livestock, health, and manpower export. He said Pakistan looks forward to hosting the Crown Prince in an official visit later this year, with dates being finalized through diplomatic channels.

Both leaders discussed regional and international issues, including the situation in the Middle East. The Crown Prince praised Pakistan’s role in supporting the Palestinian people. In the end, both sides reaffirmed their commitment to continued bilateral cooperation at all levels.
