Prime Minister’s telephone contact with political parties: ‘We have avenged the blood of innocents’

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held telephonic conversations with leaders of major political parties, including Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Barrister Gohar, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman, Khalid Hussain Magsi, and Chaudhry Salik Hussain, to inform them about the latest developments in the national security situation.

He confirmed that Pakistan has given a strong and coordinated military response to India’s aggression under Operation Bunyan al-Marsous. Indian missile and drone attacks had targeted civilian areas, including Noor Khan Airbase and other locations early this morning, resulting in the death of innocent civilians.

Despite these attacks, Pakistan exercised restraint and only responded after India rejected Islamabad’s call for an independent investigation into the Pahalgam incident. The Prime Minister said military installations in India used for attacks on Pakistan were specifically targeted in retaliation.

PM Shehbaz proudly stated:

“Today, we have avenged the blood of innocent lives and given India a fitting reply. We are proud of our armed forces.”

He thanked all political leaders for their unity and support, emphasising that Pakistan remains determined to protect its sovereignty at all costs.
