Professor Sajid Mir, Head of Jamiat Ahle Hadith, Passes Away

Professor Sajid Mir, the head of Jamiat Ahle Hadith, has passed away at the age of 85. He had been ill for some time, and his health had deteriorated due to a spinal surgery and heart problems.
Professor Sajid Mir was a prominent religious, intellectual, and political figure. He dedicated his life to the service of Islam and the promotion of knowledge. In 1994, he was elected as a senator by the Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz), and he served as a member of the Senate multiple times. He also played a significant role in strengthening relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
His death has deeply saddened both religious and political circles. May Allah grant him forgiveness.
