Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is considering the resignation of its members from the Judicial Commission of Pakistan. Party leaders believe the forum has brought no significant benefits.

Currently, Barrister Gohar and Ali Zafar represent PTI in the commission as parliamentarians. Sources confirm that both may resign soon.

PTI founder recently held consultations regarding resignations from parliamentary committees and the Judicial Commission. On his instructions, members are stepping down from committees today.

According to sources, the founder told lawyers that the commission failed to secure relief from courts. He questioned the usefulness of such representation.

Party sources suggest that Barrister Gohar and Ali Zafar could submit their resignations as Judicial Commission members today. The PTI political committee has endorsed this move.

However, Barrister Gohar clarified that no final decision has been made yet. He confirmed PTI will resign from National Assembly committees but continue in Senate committees.
