PTI Founder Responsible for the Return of Terrorism in Pakistan: Maryam Aurangzeb

Lahore: Senior Punjab Minister Maryam Aurangzeb has accused the founder of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) of being responsible for the resurgence of terrorism in the country.

In a strong statement, she said former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif had united the nation against terrorism and led successful operations to eliminate the threat. She claimed that the PTI founder violated the National Action Plan, which was a unified national strategy introduced by Nawaz Sharif.

“The PTI founder provided shelter, funding, and support to terrorists and resettled them in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa,” she stated.

Maryam Aurangzeb added:

“He facilitated the growth of terrorism. Accountability of those who enabled terrorists is essential for peace.”

She further said the sacrifices of Pakistan’s armed forces, police, and citizens should not be forgotten:

“The PTI founder has betrayed the blood of our martyrs.”
