Isa Khel, Punjab: Police clashed with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) workers coming from Khyber Pakhtunkhwa near the Kundal Isa Khel Interchange, using tear gas shells to disperse the crowd. The workers were en route to join the PTI rally planned in Islamabad.

Among those participating in the rally were PTI leaders Tariq Iqbal Khan and Ahmad Khan Wala, along with workers from Isa Khel Tehsil. As the protestors moved toward Islamabad, security forces intervened, resorting to shelling in an attempt to break up the procession and prevent them from continuing.

The incident is part of ongoing security measures by the government, aimed at limiting PTI’s ability to mobilise and disrupt the planned protest in the capital. Despite the crackdown, PTI supporters remain determined to proceed with their protest actions.
