Punjab Announces Revised School Reopening Dates

The Punjab government has changed its earlier decision to extend school holidays. The new schedule applies to both public and private institutions. Officials confirmed the updated reopening plan in Lahore on Tuesday.

According to the revised dates, classes for nine and ten will start from August 18. O-Level and A-Level classes will also resume on the same day. Intermediate students will begin their new academic year on August 18 as well.

For younger students, classes from one to eight will reopen on September 1. The government said this will give children extra rest during the summer heat. Schools have been instructed to prepare for the return of students.

Authorities assured that all schools will follow the reopening schedule without exceptions.
