Punjab Colleges ban inappropriate dance performances; Higher Education Department takes strict action

(Web Desk) The Punjab Higher Education Department has taken strict notice of complaints regarding inappropriate dance performances and activities in educational institutions. In response, a ban has been imposed on such displays during fun fairs and sports gala events in colleges.
According to the Higher Education Department, complaints were received regarding teachers and students dancing to Indian songs in various colleges. Taking immediate action, the department has issued directives to all college directors and institution heads, emphasizing that educational institutions are sacred places meant for learning and must not host unethical activities.
Officials have warned that any violation of this directive will result in strict action against the college head. The department has instructed all nine directors of Punjab colleges to ensure the implementation of these orders to maintain a positive and disciplined educational environment.
