Punjab Health Card no longer valid outside Punjab

Starting July 1, Punjab Health cardholders will no longer be eligible for treatment in other regions, including the federal capital, Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Azad Kashmir.
The State Life Insurance Corporation has officially directed hospitals in these regions to stop offering free treatment under the Punjab Health Card. From now on, the card will be valid only within Punjab.
Meanwhile, the Health Facilitation Program will remain active in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, where health cards continue to function.
This move follows an earlier decision by the Punjab government to end free treatment via health cards in public hospitals across the province, effective June 30.
