Quick Response Saves Hafeez Center from Major Fire Tragedy

Lahore: A potentially devastating fire at Lahore’s prominent commercial plaza, Hafeez Centre, was swiftly brought under control on Thursday, thanks to the timely intervention of Rescue 1122 and Punjab authorities.
According to initial reports, the fire broke out due to a short circuit. Firefighters arrived promptly and managed to douse the flames within 20 minutes, preventing a much larger disaster.
The incident caused panic among shopkeepers and customers, but no casualties were reported.
Traders and members of the business community at Hafeez Centre expressed deep gratitude to the Punjab government and emergency services for their swift action. They stated that had there been a delay in response, the damage could have resulted in losses worth millions of rupees.
