Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi Arrested During Protest Against BJP

Indian opposition leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi were arrested by Delhi Police during a protest against the ruling BJP. The demonstration was held to oppose alleged vote theft and election rigging.
The Congress Party, along with other opposition groups, accused the Modi government and the Election Commission of working together. Leaders claimed that systematic fraud took place in the recent elections, robbing the people of their mandate.
Two days earlier, Rahul Gandhi openly accused the Election Commission and the BJP of rigging. He said the electoral process was not transparent. According to him, the government used institutions for political gain.
Priyanka Gandhi also urged citizens to stand up for their voting rights. She stressed that the protest was not just for one party but for the survival of democracy.
Police said the arrests were made temporarily to maintain law and order. However, Congress leaders described the move as an attempt to silence democratic voices.
