Rain brings relief to smog-stricken Lahore

Lahore, notorious for its smoggy winters, received a touch of nature’s kindness as light drizzling graced various parts of the city, including areas like Ichhra and Shama. The brief but refreshing showers have improved the air quality and lifted the residents’ spirits.

According to the Meteorological Department, the city’s temperature was 22 degrees Celsius. The light rain has provided some respite to citizens struggling with the dense smog for weeks.

Residents expressed relief as the rain helped settle dust particles and pollutants in the city’s air quality. While the smog may return, the refreshing weather offered a much-needed break from the otherwise suffocating atmosphere.
