Renowned Pakistani Actress Ayesha Khan Passes Away at 77

Karachi: Veteran Pakistani television actress Ayesha Khan has passed away at the age of 77. According to family sources, she passed away five days ago in Karachi. Her close friend, Tahmina Khalid, confirmed the news, stating that Ayesha Khan had been unwell for some time and quietly departed from this world.
Ayesha Khan was among the leading actresses of Pakistan Television’s (PTV) golden era. Throughout her illustrious career, she delivered memorable performances in numerous popular dramas, captivating audiences with her powerful acting. Some of her most well-known dramas include “Afshan”, “Aroosa”, “Family 93”, and “Mehndi”, which are still fondly remembered by viewers today.
She was also the elder sister of the late actress Khalida Riyasat. Ayesha Khan had been away from the entertainment industry for several years, living a quiet and private life.
Many prominent figures from the showbiz industry have expressed deep sorrow and grief over her passing, remembering her as a valuable asset to Pakistan’s television history.
