Pakistan’s acclaimed mountaineer Naila Kiani has successfully summited Kangchenjunga, the world’s third-highest mountain, located in Nepal, standing at 8,586 meters above sea level. With this incredible achievement, she becomes the first Pakistani woman to climb 12 peaks over 8,000 metres.

Before this, Kiani had conquered several of the world’s most dangerous and highest mountains, including Mount Everest, K2, and Nanga Parbat. Her continued success not only brings pride to Pakistan but also serves as an inspiration for Pakistani women, highlighting their growing role in the challenging field of high-altitude mountaineering.

This achievement establishes a new milestone in Pakistan’s mountaineering history and acts as an inspiring benchmark for young women aspiring to engage in adventure sports.

It is worth mentioning that Naila Kiani, alongside fellow Pakistani mountaineer Samina Baig, had previously scaled Nanga Parbat as well. That expedition included 10 Pakistani climbers and over 40 international mountaineers. Among the Pakistani team were Wajidullah Nagri, Rizwan Dad, Eid Muhammad, Ahmed Baig, Waqar Ali, Saeed Karim, Liaqat Karim, Suzain, and Shah Daulat, all of whom completed the mission alongside Naila and Samina.
