LAHORE: Punjab police have tracked the location of Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan (TLP) chief Saad Hussain Rizvi and his younger brother Anas Rizvi, issuing a final warning to surrender or face imminent arrest.

According to police sources, law enforcement agencies identified the brothers’ whereabouts during ongoing investigations into recent violent protests. The Rizvi brothers, along with several TLP workers, face terrorism charges linked to deadly attacks on police in Rawat, Taxila, and Muridke.

Officials stated that both are being urged to surrender peacefully. Unconfirmed reports suggest they may be injured, though authorities have yet to verify these claims.

Police have intensified operations following a wave of unrest. FIRs lodged at various police stations cite terrorism, attempted murder, robbery, and incitement to violence. The cases stem from protests during which armed demonstrators reportedly clashed with law enforcement.

One of the attacks led to the death of SHO Inspector Shahzad Jhumat, with multiple officers injured in the violence. FIRs indicate protesters were equipped with firearms, petrol bombs, and spiked sticks, and also looted tear gas shells from police. They allegedly damaged official vehicles and blocked roads.

Law enforcement has vowed to arrest all individuals involved, stating that legal action will be swift and in accordance with anti-terror laws.
