Salaries of Sindh Assembly members increased by 200%.

The Sindh Assembly has approved a 200% increase in the salaries and perks of its members, raising their monthly compensation from PKR 155,000 to over PKR 450,000.
The bill, presented on August 8, was unanimously passed—except by Jamaat-e-Islami, which opposed it. A parliamentary committee led by Speaker Owais Shah, and including representatives from all major parties, finalised the decision.
Key changes include:
Basic salary raised from PKR 50,000 to PKR 300,000
House rent allowance: PKR 50,000
Office maintenance: PKR 15,000
Telephone & mobile allowance: PKR 10,000 each
Utility allowance: PKR 20,000
Daily and conveyance allowances increased from PKR 1,000 to PKR 3,000.
The rise has sparked public debate amid economic challenges faced by the general population.
