Sara Umair Opens Up About Divorce and Struggles

Former actress Sara Umair has confirmed her divorce from director Mohsin Talat after months of public speculation. She shared the news during a reality show appearance on a private TV channel. This marked her first public statement about the separation. Sara explained that the divorce happened a few months before she joined the show Tamasha. She said it was time to speak openly about the challenges she faced.
Sara Umair began her acting career in 2008 with a debut on PTV. She later gained fame for her performances in several popular dramas. Her fan base grew even more after she won the reality show Desi Kadiyaan. In 2014, she left the entertainment industry following her marriage to Mohsin Talat. Since then, she had remained largely out of the spotlight.
On the show, Sara revealed the emotional toll of her separation. She said working in the same industry as her ex-husband made things harder. “I had to keep meeting him even after the divorce,” she said. Sara added that she went through mental stress and struggled with the responsibilities of single parenting. Her candid words touched many viewers.
She described her time on Tamasha as an unexpected form of healing. “There was no phone, no contact, no distractions,” she said. For her, being cut off from the outside world felt like a blessing. Sara said she had long wished for peace, and the show gave her that. She appreciated the quiet and isolation the show provided.
Looking back, Sara said she has faced many hardships in life. Compared to those struggles, the drama inside Tamasha felt small. “People were fighting, but it all seemed childish to me,” she shared. Her comments reflected strength, patience, and personal growth. Fans are praising her for speaking out and sharing her truth.
