‘Sardaar Ji 3’ crosses ₹33 crore worldwide in first week

The Punjabi film ‘Sardaar Ji 3’, starring Diljit Dosanjh and Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, has grossed ₹33.6 crore globally within its first week of release, marking a strong box office start.
The film was not released in India due to political backlash over the casting of a Pakistani actress. However, this did not impact its international success, with strong performances in the US, Canada, UK, and Pakistan.
Made on a ₹35 crore budget, the film is now just ₹16.4 crore away from the ₹50 crore milestone, which analysts believe it will surpass soon thanks to positive reviews and growing audience interest.
Sardaar Ji 3 has proven that compelling stories and strong performances transcend borders. Industry experts believe that had it been released in India, it could have easily crossed the ₹100 crore mark.
