Saudi Arabia makes meningitis vaccine mandatory for Hajj 2025 pilgrims

Saudi Arabia has made the meningitis vaccine mandatory for both Saudi citizens and foreign pilgrims planning to perform Hajj 2025, local media reported.
The decision aims to protect pilgrims from infectious diseases and ensure a safe pilgrimage experience. As per the new guidelines, proof of vaccination will be required before purchasing Hajj packages or completing the registration process.
Officials have stated that no individual will be allowed to perform Hajj without receiving the vaccine. The requirement applies to both international pilgrims and Saudi residents planning to participate in Hajj 2025.
Authorities have urged all pilgrims to get vaccinated on time to avoid any delays or issues in the registration process. The move is part of Saudi Arabia’s continued efforts to maintain health and safety standards during the annual pilgrimage.
