Saudi Arabia’s big move: Hajj sermon now in 35 languages

The Presidency for Religious Affairs at the Grand Mosque and Prophet’s Mosque (PBUH) has launched a global initiative to translate and broadcast the Arafat Sermon for 1446 AH in 35 languages, aiming to reach over 5 million Muslims worldwide.

This is being called the largest translation project in the history of the sermon. It will be streamed live, digitally broadcast, and shared across social media platforms.

The initiative, led by Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Sudais, is part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing efforts to promote religious tolerance, moderation, and unity among Muslims globally.

The sermon during Hajj will be delivered by Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Humaid.
