Security forces eliminate eight terrorists in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa operations

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa: Pakistan’s security forces successfully neutralised eight terrorists in two separate operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported on January 13.
The operations took place in the Tank and Tirah Valley, with intelligence-based operations (IBOs) targeting reported terrorist hideouts.
The first operation was conducted in the Tank district on January 12, based on intelligence about the presence of terrorists. During the operation, security forces effectively engaged the terrorists’ position and killed six of them.
In a second engagement, two terrorists were eliminated in the Tirah Valley, located in the Khyber district, on January 13.
Following these operations, sanitisation efforts are underway to clear the area of any remaining terrorists. The Pakistan security forces remain determined to eradicate terrorism and ensure peace and stability across the country.
This successful action comes just a day after security forces eliminated 27 terrorists in Balochistan’s Kachhi district during another intelligence-based operation. According to ISPR, the operation in Kachhi was planned following intelligence reports about a terrorist hideout in the region.
