Peshawar – Security forces successfully foiled terrorist attacks on three police stations in different cities of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, preventing potential damage and casualties.

According to officials, a group of 10 to 15 militants attempted to storm the Gambila police station in Lakki Marwat. However, the security personnel responded swiftly, forcing the attackers to retreat. District Police Officer (DPO) Jawad Ishaq confirmed that timely action played a crucial role in averting a major disaster. The assailants, armed with heavy weapons, managed to escape under the cover of fire.

In Peshawar, another police post in the Malazai area was targeted with a hand grenade. Despite the sudden attack, security personnel remained steadfast and effectively countered the assault, ensuring no major damage occurred.

A third incident took place in Khyber, where militants opened fire on a police post near Bypass Road. The on-duty officers promptly retaliated, preventing the terrorists from advancing further.
