Senior PML-N leader Sadiq al-Farooq passes away

Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and former chairman of the Evacuee Trust Property Board, Sadiq al-Farooq, has passed away.
Sources reveal that Sadiq al-Farooq, who also served as the press secretary to the prime minister and held key positions in various government bodies, had been suffering from a kidney ailment. His death has left a significant void in the political landscape.
Further details regarding the funeral arrangements and the timing of the funeral prayer (Namaz-e-Janaza) will be announced later.
