Shah Mahmood Qureshi Shifted to PIC After Chest Pain

Lahore: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice Chairman Shah Mahmood Qureshi was transferred to the Punjab Institute of Cardiology (PIC) on Saturday morning after experiencing chest pain while in jail.

According to his legal representative, Rana Muddassar, Shah Mahmood Qureshi began feeling discomfort in his chest shortly after offering Fajr (dawn) prayers. Jail medical staff promptly examined him, but when his condition failed to improve, he was shifted to the PIC through Rescue 1122 for further treatment and monitoring.

Jail authorities have also notified Qureshi’s family about the incident and his current medical status.

Further updates regarding his health and medical reports are awaited. Qureshi is currently in custody, facing legal proceedings in multiple cases.
