Sher Afzal Marwat calls for political dialogue to resolve Pakistan’s crises

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Sher Afzal Marwat emphasised the importance of political dialogue to navigate the country through its ongoing crises. In a media interaction on Wednesday, Marwat revealed that talks between PTI and the government were progressing smoothly until November 25, after which a deadlock occurred.
He shared that a committee has been set up to ensure the continuation of negotiations between the two sides. Marwat highlighted that if all other options fail, PTI plans to launch a movement of civil disobedience.
Marwat further stated that PTI is fully aware of the country’s needs and challenges, underlining that the independence of the judiciary is of higher importance than economic stability. He noted that as the country’s issues continue to intensify, meaningful negotiations have become unavoidable to find a way forward.
