Sialkot Flood Impact: Schools Closed for Student Safety Reasons

The district administration of Sialkot has announced that 26 government schools in flood-affected areas will remain closed for two additional days, on September 11 and 12. According to the official notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner, students will have two days off, while teaching staff must report to duty as usual.
Authorities stated that recent rains and flooding have caused damage to several schools, leading to safety concerns. The closure is a precautionary step to protect students during this emergency situation. The affected schools include 4 in Daska, 6 in Sialkot city, 6 in Pasrur, and 8 in Sambrial.
