Significant increase in gold prices

Karachi: The price of gold saw a substantial rise today in both the domestic and global markets.
According to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewelers Association, the price of one tola of gold in Pakistan has increased by PKR 7,800, reaching PKR 350,000. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold has risen by PKR 6,687, now selling at PKR 36,800. In the global market, gold prices surged by $76, reaching $3,316 per ounce.
Experts note that gold is traditionally considered a safe investment, especially during times of rising inflation, political, and economic instability. For centuries, gold has been used as currency and a store of wealth. When investors feel uncertain about other assets, they often turn to gold as a reliable investment option.
