Sindh CM Murad Ali Shah meets Ishaq Dar to discuss release of funds for development projects

Islamabad—To review the allocation of funds for ongoing development projects in Sindh, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah met with Finance Minister and Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar in a pivotal meeting. The agenda item for the meeting was the timely completion and advancement of projects under the Sindh Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP).
Throughout the session, a thorough evaluation of the projects was conducted, with a special focus on the procedures for approving and implementing updated schemes. Given the beneficial effects this will have on the province’s development and the welfare of its residents, both leaders emphasized how crucial it is to make sure these projects are finished on time and within the authorized budget.
CM Murad Ali Shah received assurances from Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar that the federal government would fully and promptly disburse cash for all projects in Sindh that were authorized. Additionally, he promised that the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) and the Central Development Working Party (CDWP) would swiftly resolve any cost escalations for ongoing projects.
