Six children were injured when a school van caught fire in Karachi’s Nazimabad area on Monday morning. The incident occurred near Kuba Mosque around 7:30 a.m. According to rescue officials, the fire was likely caused by overheating or a short circuit. Three of the injured children were taken to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital, while the remaining three were transferred to Civil Hospital Karachi. Some of the children suffered serious burn injuries and were taken to nearby hospitals. Severe cases were moved to the burns ward at Civil Hospital Karachi for specialized treatment.
