Six New Driving License Facilitation Centers Launched

Gujranwala – Getting a driving licence has just become easier for the residents of Gujranwala. The city’s traffic police have launched six new “Rahbar Centres” to simplify and speed up the licence issuance and renewal process.

Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Ayesha Butt inaugurated the centres, which are designed using a modern “smart office” model to offer efficient and streamlined services. These centres provide facilities for learner permits, international licences, light and heavy vehicle licences (LTV/HTV), duplicate licences, and motorcycle licences.

The initiative aims to promote legal and safe driving habits in a city that now has a population exceeding 2.3 million and sees millions of vehicles, especially motorcycles, on the roads daily.

Three of the six planned centres are already operational at Dastgir Chowk, Chunda Qila, and Jinnah Interchange. All facilities are equipped with wireless traffic management systems, ensuring quick and reliable service delivery.
