Quetta: Seven Pakistan Army soldiers were martyred in a blast targeting a security forces’ vehicle in the Machh area of Balochistan’s Kachhi district, the military’s media wing ISPR confirmed on Tuesday.

According to the ISPR, the attack was carried out by the India-backed terrorist group Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA). The militants used an improvised explosive device (IED) to target the vehicle.

The cowardly attack resulted in the martyrdom of seven brave soldiers. The martyred include Subedar Umar Farooq, Naik Asif Khan, Naik Mashkoor Ali, Sepoy Tariq Nawaz, Sepoy Wajid Ahmed Faiz, Sepoy Muhammad Asim, and Sepoy Muhammad Kashif Khan.

The ISPR stated that such acts of terrorism are part of a broader agenda to destabilize Pakistan, but the armed forces remain committed to eradicate terrorism and honoring the sacrifices of the nation’s heroes.
